Every time I feel anxious in my daily life, especially when I fall asleep at night, I have the same recurring nightmare: my teeth are falling out. I’ve had this dream ever since I was a little girl, so for me, teeth have always symbolized anxiety and stress. This symbolism even inspired one of the sculptures in my degree show.
