Are we humans truly as “good” as we like to believe? Violence shocks us only when it harms “our own people,” yet it pleases us when it hurts “the others”, but isn’t it strange that we’ve been divided this way? Was it our choice, or have others divided us? Perhaps, in our fear that someone might take away the little we have left, we choose to strike back by taking the little that belongs to someone else. And if we do that, are we certain we will keep what’s ours? Or are we simply feeding a cycle of violence that must, at last, come to an end?
